Dotdigital Appoints CFO

Dotdigital Group plc

(“Dotdigital”, the “Company”, or the “Group”)

Appointment of CFO

Dotdigital Group plc (AIM: DOTD), the leading SaaS provider of an all-in-one customer experience and data platform (CXDP), is pleased to announce that, following a comprehensive search process, it has appointed Thomas (Tom) Oliver Mullan as Chief Financial Officer.

Tom succeeds Alistair Gurney, incumbent CFO, who had indicated his intention to step down from his role in order to pursue a new business opportunity, as previously announced. Tom will be co-opted to the Board on 30 April 2025, at which point Alistair will step down from the Board.

Tom brings extensive experience in the software sector and as a public company CFO, having served for more than six years at Gresham Technologies PLC (“Gresham”), a leading software and services company that specialises in providing solutions for data integrity and control. During his time at Gresham, Tom played a key role in driving a SaaS business model evolution, revenue and EBITDA growth, international expansion and successful M&A activity, culminating in the company’s transition to private ownership in 2024.

He has also held senior finance roles at several international software businesses, including Fadata Group, a private equity-backed insurance software provider, and Guidewire Software, where he led EMEA finance and operations during a period of rapid expansion and supported the business through its NYSE listing.

Tom began his career at EY, qualifying as an ACCA and working across the UK, US and Australia.

Milan Patel, CEO of Dotdigital, commented:

“With a strong track record working across high-growth software companies and an excellent reputation as a PLC CFO, Tom is an ideal fit for Dotdigital. I am confident that his strategic insight, financial and operational acumen, and extensive experience in driving organic growth, leading international expansion, and executing M&A will be invaluable as we continue to pursue our long-term growth ambitions. I look forward to working closely with Tom and, on behalf of the Board and everyone at the Company, would like to welcome him to the team.”

Tom Mullan, incoming CFO, said:

“Dotdigital is one of the most exciting businesses in the UK tech space, with a strong product, a scalable business model, and a growing global presence. Its long-term growth potential is clear and the opportunity to help shape that journey was a major draw for me. Milan and the Board have a focused strategy, supported by a talented and ambitious team, and I’ve been impressed by the clarity of vision and drive across the business. I’m looking forward to getting started and contributing to the next phase of Dotdigital’s growth and value creation.”
